What we collect, and what we never do with it.
Effective October 11, 2026 · version 2026-10
What we collect
Your name and email; the CVs, case studies, and images you upload; repository metadata if you connect GitHub; the criteria you set; and the applications and pitches drafted for you. We also log model usage (tokens and cost) to meter your plan.
How we use it
Only to run the service for you: extracting your profile, matching openings, tailoring submissions, showing an anonymous profile to vetted hirers if you opt in, and publishing the portfolio you choose to make public.
AI providers
Your material is sent to the model provider you choose (or the managed provider) to produce drafts. We call these providers through their paid API endpoints, which under their published API terms are not used to train their models. If you bring your own key, that provider's terms apply to you directly; note that some free tiers have different rules.
What we never do
We never train models on your files, sell your data, share it with recruiters or aggregators, or submit anything without your approval. See the Data Sovereign Pledge.
Hirer discovery
If you choose to be discoverable, approved employers and investors can see an anonymous version of your verified profile: level, stack, verified milestones, and outcomes, with your name, photo, links, and contact removed. We record which organizations open your profile and show that list to you. Your identity is shared with a hirer only when you accept their introduction request. You can turn discovery off at any time.
Storage and retention
Data is stored in Postgres (Neon) and object storage (Cloudflare R2). Deleting your account removes all of it, including stored files and images, as part of the deletion. Published portfolio pages may remain in search engine caches after unpublishing.
Your rights
Delete your account and all of its data at any time from Settings. For access or correction requests, or anything else, write to the contact address in the footer.
Who operates this service
